About Salerys
What is Salerys?
Salerys calculates payroll and manages personnel administration for Belgian employers: payslips, Dimona, DmfA, onboarding and offboarding, end-of-contract documents, certificates, and simulations. Every client has a dedicated, named payroll manager and a named deputy.
Is Salerys an accredited social secretariat?
No. Salerys is a social services provider: we perform the exact same operational tasks (payroll calculation, payslips, Dimona, DmfA, statutory documents) without holding accredited social secretariat status. In practice, your legal obligations remain the same in both cases, and we execute them on your behalf under a written mandate.
What exactly do you handle, and what is left for us to do?
You submit monthly variables (hours worked, leave, bonuses) before the 5th. We handle everything else: calculation, quality checks, payslips delivered 3 business days before payment, declarations, documents, and answering your questions. You approve and execute salary payments.
How much does the service cost?
From €44 per FTE (1 to 5 employees) down to €23 per FTE (150+ employees), excluding VAT, all-inclusive. 13 payroll runs per year billed across 12 equal monthly instalments: no surprise fees in May or December. Migration and setup are completely free when switching from another provider.
How can I switch payroll providers?
Most social secretariat contracts must be terminated in writing before 30 June for an exit on 31 December. Check your notice date (our calculator checks it in three questions), send the registered letter, and we will take over your employee records and run parallel calculations in Q4 to verify everything before your first live payroll.
Who answers my questions?
A dedicated, named payroll manager with a direct line and email, plus a named deputy who also knows your file. Replies within 4 business hours. Urgent Dimona filings handled within the hour until 8 pm.
What happens if you make a mistake?
We correct the calculation and issue any rectifying payment within 24 hours at our expense. If we fail on our commitments three times in the same quarter, we refund 10% of that quarter's fees, and you can leave without notice or termination fees.
Is my data secure?
Data is hosted within the European Union, access is strictly limited to your dedicated manager and deputy, two-factor authentication is enforced, and all access is logged. We act as a GDPR-compliant data processor under a signed processing agreement.
Switching payroll partner
When should we start?
Before 30 June. The vast majority of social secretariat contracts require six months' written notice prior to 31 December. Missing the 30 June deadline does not delay things by six months, it delays you by an entire year.
Does Salerys contact our current provider?
Yes, as soon as you give us the mandate: we request employee records, salary histories, leave balances, and tax files, and follow up until everything is received.
Will my employees experience any disruption?
No. We run parallel calculations on the final months processed by your current provider, checking line by line. Any discrepancies are identified and resolved before your first live payroll run with us.
How much does the migration cost?
Nothing. Data migration, audits, and parallel payroll runs are completely free of charge when you switch from another provider.
